We have protected jobs and pay for all our staff.

Nobody has been furloughed and we won’t be taking any money from the Government’s furlough scheme.

These are uncertain times for everybody, so we have re-employed colleagues who left recently and would have found themselves without income.

Keeping our people safe is paramount, so most of our colleagues are now working from home.

For your pets

It’s hard to get to the vet right now, so we’re currently offering all our Direct Line customers access to PawSquad.

As long as you have any Direct Line policy, you have 24/7 access to an online vet.

For communities

We’ve created a fund to support local communities and charities close to our offices around the UK.

FareShare

FareShare is a network of charitable food redistributors who get good quality surplus food to almost 11,000 frontline charities and community groups, covering 960 villages, towns and cities across the UK.
Right now, they need extra personal protective equipment (PPE), so we have donated money to cover the cost of procurement.

Trussell Trust

More than 14 million people in the UK are currently living in poverty, 4.5 million of them are children. Trussell Trust supports the largest national network of food banks and estimates an extra 400,000 emergency parcels will be needed over the next three months, along with improved delivery systems.
We have donated to help Trussell Trust reach more vulnerable people.

Turn2Us

Turn2Us is a charity that helps people living in poverty in the UK and Ireland. It provides information and support about welfare benefits and charitable grants via its website and freephone helpline.
We’re helping Turn2Us provide cash grants to people in financial hardship living in communities close to our offices.
