Claiming a gift card

This offer is available to customers who’ve bought Direct Line Over 50s Life Insurance, directly via the Direct Line website or over the phone on or after 22nd July 2019.

If you don’t have a valid email address you can ask us to send out your e-gift card via the post.

The e-Gifts available to choose from are:

  1. £100 Gift Card
  2. £100 Love2Shop code
  3. £100 M&S e-Gift Card

This offer is limited to one e-Gift card per policy sold. If you have previously received an e-gift card for a policy, and then cancelled, you do not qualify for subsequent e-gift cards.

A letter or email will be sent to you with details of 'what happens next'. Please allow 30 days from your policy start date to receive this.

You'll qualify for your e-Gift card six months after your policy start date, provided you haven't cancelled your policy, your payments are fully up to date and a claim has not been made.

A 'Choice' letter or email will be sent to you with details of how to redeem your e-Gift card after you’ve had the policy for six months, please allow 30 days from this point for it to arrive.

You'll have six months from the date we send you the 'Choice' message to claim your e-Gift card. After this you won’t qualify.

In the unlikely event that a gift becomes unavailable, we'll send out a similar alternative that has the same value.

No cash alternative will be offered. Cashback customers are not included in this offer.
