Fixed rate mortgages mean your monthly payments are guaranteed to stay the same throughout the fixed rate period. With discount tracker mortgages, your monthly payments go up and down in line with the Bank of England base rate.
Whichever Direct Line mortgage you choose, you’ll benefit from our low rates, for our online only two year discount tracker mortgage you'll pay a discounted rate for two years, after that you'll pay 1.5% above the base rate. Direct Line mortgages apply to properties in England, Scotland or Wales (including the Isle of Wight), as long as the mortgage is for your main residence and you’re over 18 years old. Depending on the details you give us and the mortgage you choose, we can lend up to 95% of the value of the property or the selling price – whichever is lower – and the minimum you can borrow is £10,000. Direct Line also give you the option of taking out a single or joint mortgage.
