We work with many types of projects, designed to save emissions or absorb an equivalent amount of CO2. They are independently checked to make sure they do make a difference. We have chosen projects that meet high standards, including some endorsed by the United Nations.

Types of projects

We have selected a range of projects across the world and in different industries. All pass stringent independent checks to prove they are generating carbon benefit. Some of these projects are approved by the United Nations under the Kyoto Protocol.

Each project has an important goal – whether it’s to cut down on CO2 pollution, inspire more use of renewable energy or plant more trees. For example, one of our projects works with communities and small farmers in developing countries who wish to restore degraded land and develop sustainable agricultural and forestry systems.
