What's covered
  • Accidental
    damage

    This covers you if your car is accidentally damaged.

  • Fire & theft

    With fire & theft cover you're covered if your car is damaged as a result of theft, attempted theft, fire, lightning or explosion.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive and Third Party, Fire & Theft.
  • Damage to
    third party property

    This covers you for any damage your car causes to another person’s car or property.

    Comes as standard with all our cover levels.
  • Personal accident

    Designed to protect you and your spouse or partner in the event of a serious injury or death sustained while travelling or getting into or out of any car.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive. Cover limits up to £5,000.
  • Uninsured driver
    promise

    If an uninsured driver hits you and it's not your fault, we have your excess covered and you won't lose your no claim discount.

    Remember, we’ll need the other driver’s registration number as well as the make and model of their car.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive.
  • 24/7 accident
    recovery helpline

    Our accident recovery helpline is available to you at all times.

  • Vandalism
    protection

    We can't protect your car against vandalism. But we can protect your no claim discount.

    And if you make a claim for damage to your car that’s a result of vandalism, we won't just repair the damage. Go to one of our recommended garages and we'll clean your car inside out too.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive.
  • Windscreen
    damage

    If your windscreen or window glass is damaged, we'll pay for their replacement or repair. Give us a call before any work is carried out and we'll direct you to an approved repairer who will replace your glass subject to a £75 excess. If they repair rather than replace the windscreen, then £10 excess applies.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive. Limits apply if you don’t use one of our approved repairers: £75 for a replacement windscreen and £10 for a repair. If you don’t deal direct with our approved repairer our maximum payment will be £125 for replacement and £40 for a repair after deducting the excess.
  • Hotel
    expenses

    If your car isn't driveable after an accident, we'll pay for the cost of an overnight stay in a hotel - for you and your passengers.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive. Cover limits up to £150 for the driver or £250 in total for all the people in the car.
  • Personal
    possessions cover

    Your clothing and personal belongings are covered for loss or damage in the event of fire, theft, attempted theft or accident. Just keep in mind exclusions apply.

    We won't cover loss of or damage to:

    • Money, credit or debit cards
    • Stamps, tickets, vouchers, documents, securities (such as share and Premium Bond certificates)
    • Goods or samples carried in connection with any trade or business
    • Property insured under any other policy.
    Comes as standard with Comprehensive. Cover limits up to £100.
  • Medical expenses

    We'll pay medical expenses for each person injured after an accident, as long as there's no cover in force under another car insurance policy.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive.
  • Replacement child
    car seats

    We take every aspect of your little one's safety very seriously. That's why in the event of an accident, fire or theft we'll cover the cost of a replacement child car seat - even if there is no apparent damage.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive.
  • In-car equipment

    We cover any permanently fitted in-car audio, TV, telephone or navigation equipment.

    If fitted as part of the car's standard equipment, then the cover is unlimited.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive and Third Party, Fire & Theft. Cover limits up to £1,000 - this limit applies only to non-standard fitment.
  • New car cover

    We'll replace your car with a new one of the same make and model if:

    • Your car is less than one year old
    • You're the first and only registered owner
    • It has been stolen and not found or deemed a write off.
    Comes as standard with Comprehensive.
  • Used car replacement

    If your car is written off due to an accident, vandalism, fire or flood, choose between a replacement car like yours, cash settlement or pay for an upgrade

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive. Minimum car purchase price of £3,500. An exact match may not be available - subject to availability. Excludes theft claims.
  • Repairs guaranteed for five years when using an approved repairer

    Repair work is guaranteed for five years if you use one of our approved repairers. Your car will be cleaned inside and out before being returned to you.

    Comes as standard with Comprehensive and Third Party, Fire & Theft.
Optional extras

Motor Legal Protection

If you have an accident involving your car where you are not to blame, you have the right to claim from the person responsible.


Guaranteed hire car

We’ll supply a hire car for up to 14 days in a row if you can’t drive your car or it’s being repaired following a claim.


Guaranteed hire car plus

We'll supply a hire car for up to 21 days in a row if you can't drive your car or it's being repaired following a claim.


Protected no claim discount

If you have a minimum of four years earned no claim discount with no more than one fault claim in the past three years, then you’re eligible for our protected no claim discount.


Breakdown cover

In partnership with Green Flag, we provide you with 24/7 assistance, 365 days a year plus unlimited callouts to breakdowns.​

Third Party, Fire & Theft

This covers you if your car is damaged by fire or stolen, and if other people claim against you for injury or damage to their car or property.
