Save money on home insurance when buying buildings and contents cover

Direct Line is offering one-third off the cost of home insurance this autumn, when new customers buy buildings and contents policies together. Paying less for such an important purchase means homeowners can save money and still get protection for their home and possessions from a well-known, dependable company.

While this promotion only applies to new customers, Direct Line also has great offers for its existing customers. These include a 10% no-claims discount, as well as a number of services available free at renewal, such as ID Fraud Assistance, Home Emergency cover, and increased cover limits.

Customers can also save up to 25% off by purchasing their policy online at Direct Line.

Direct Line’s one-third offer promotion for home insurance has the following terms and conditions: This offer is for a 12 month combined buildings and contents policy with a one-third discount. It is an introductory offer, and as such is only available to new customers of Direct Line. When purchasing the insurance, customers are given the option of paying the entire annual premium up front, or paying by monthly direct debit. If paying by direct debit, the one-third discount still applies to the overall price, but this price will be spread across 12 monthly instalments. If paying monthly, an APR charge will be applied, and the amount advised when the quote is made.

The offer is valid until 30 November 2009, and quotes made during the offer period are valid for 90 days.
